Info: We had a weekend away with friends in February 2020 and thought a little about God's compassion. Psalm 103 is a key passage that talks about that. What beautiful, reassuring verses. I came home and wanted to capture some of those thoughts in music. It was one of my favourite writing/recording experiences, about 20 minutes from initial idea to this take of guitar + vocals. By no means my usual experience, but great when it comes together like that. I sent the recording to John. The backing vocals (writing and recording) are his. Thanks John :-) I'm pleased with the guitar part - the bassline with the thumb is a technique I haven't played with much or recorded before. |
